Dear OTAT Supporters,
One Tail at a Time is looking for a fifth board member to join our team! OTAT is a registered non-profit, no-kill organization and we run the rescue like a business, so we are looking for business-minded individuals. We work hard, but have a lot of fun and hope to find a similarly optimistic and motivated individual to join us.
Qualifications:
- A love for dogs!
- Ability to attend monthly board meetings and adoption and fundraising events on weekends (not every weekend!)
- Ability to help with volunteer duties such as transporting dogs, finalizing adoptions, and organizing events
- The drive to save animals’ lives and help grow a small rescue into a self-sustaining organization
- You must agree with our mission, which can be found on our website. www.onetail.org
It is not necessary that you have prior rescue or shelter experience, although it is a plus. We would prefer someone with fundraising or grant writing experience, but we will consider anyone who has a specific skill or passion that would help OTAT grow in the right direction. Please include a resume if you have one. All candidates will have an informal interview with OTAT board members before a decision is made.
