One Tail at a Time is a Chicagoland all-breed dog rescue that is saving lives of hundreds of animals while simultaneously giving back to our local community. We are opening an ISO Center in Logan Square that is going to make an incredible impact on our Chicago dogs! WHAT IS AN ISO CENTER? ISO is short for Isolation so the Center will be used to house dogs that come from local shelters in order to prevent the spread of contagious illnesses. OTAT pulls animals from Chicago Animal Care & Control and Animal Welfare League Wabash which have endemic contagious shelter diseases requiring animals to be quarantined once rescued.
In order to help raise funds for this cause, we have come up with the #strongbitch campaign.
Strong Bitch celebrates the strength demonstrated by women in the animal rescue community. Being both a female dog and often derogatory term, we hope to empower women to stand in their strength. By partnering with local fitness studios, Strong Bitch will generate much needed funds for homeless animals. that carry over their passion for fitness and power into all facets of life and save lives in the process.
To bring together like-minded women who demonstrate strength and together raise funds for animals in need.
