- Exploring her surroundings
Turtle is a sweet young pup who is learning how to be a spoiled city girl! She self entertains with chews and toys, but isn’t afraid to be vocal when she is bored and wants more attention! She is a great companion for cats, as she is curious but respectful. Because of her eye condition, she hasn’t had a chance to be a normal puppy yet, but we are positive that she will continue to come out of her shell and be playful and silly now that she can see her surroundings! She is a smart and confident dog, and would do great in a home that can give her training and enrichment. She loves to get pets and cuddles, and could spend all day snuggled in your lap or hanging outside in the grass. Turtle will do best with an adopter who is ready for all the stages that puppyhood and being an adolescent brings.
OTAT requires that all dogs 6 months and under be enrolled in a positive reinforcement training program within 2 weeks of their adoption at their adopter's expense. A $150 refundable deposit will be collected at the time of adoption, and refunded upon receipt of proof of enrollment in a positive reinforcement training program.
Turtle recently had a temporary entropion repair, and will need a permanent corrective entropion repair once she reaches at around ~ 8-12 months of age.
Turtle's adoption fee is $350, and this sweet girl is so excited to keep growing and blossoming with her forever family!
