Dog is Family: Beemer

Lindsay’s mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer in the summer of 2017. After giving her all the love and care in the world, she wanted to pass that same love and care on to a pup in need (enter Beemer the OTAT pup).

Lindsay saw his squatty little legs and knew Beemer becoming a family member would help heal her heart. He was full of love, and Lindsay wanted to show him the good life!

Beemer’s snuggles have helped Lindsay through the most difficult of times, and he is such a well behaved pup he even got to attend  OTAT’s 10th Annual Houndstooth Ball just last Friday!

Thanks to Beemer, Lindsay gets to belly-laugh every day and in her own words, “His little legs are to die for.” We agree, Lindsay! Thank you for adopting an OTAT pup and thank you for telling us why your #dogisfamily!

We’re featuring heartwarming stories about how #dogisfamily. Follow along on the blog or on OTAT’s Facebook for all the feels, and share your story at onetail.org/dogisfamily for a chance to be featured on the OTAT blog!
